No. 2 Paul's Basement

The Plot.
Our first paid gig!!!  Well, sort of.  Halfway through, Stacy paid us $20 for services rendered.  We returned it feeling we weren't quite good enough to be paid yet.  This concert has to be the best one to date.  By best I mean most fun.  There was a keg, lots of people, and we had a pretty long set list, which ensured a few hours of quality entertainment.  As for quality, some genius we have as a drummer decided to get more and more wasted as the night went on.  Our third set was pretty opposite of tight.  But hey, everyone had fun and that's all that matters.

We debuted our first original song; "Hockey is proof that god loves us and wants to make us happy" better known as "Gopher Riot."  We ended the night with this song and everyone loved it... which is nice.  The song follows our adventures through Dinkytown and the U of M campus on the night of April 6th, 2001... the night Men's Hockey won the National Championship.  If you'd like to see more on the song's inspiration, click here.

We're going to have to go back and play in Paul's Basement someday.  Too much fun.
